Captain Bradley Cuthbertson
Recreational to Commercial Boating Safety Expert
INTRODUCTION
Captain Cuthbertson's lifelong maritime commitment commenced at an early age as
he was exposed to and acquired skills in all types of aquatic activities. As a
child he piloted his own boats and in his teens became the designated captain
of the 52¢ yacht, "Sette Mari". In more recent time Captain Cuthbertson
was founder, president and CEO for ten years of one of the largest organizations
devoted to organized small craft activities and safety. With a membership exceeding
five thousand, his company produced and presented more jet ski/personal watercraft
racing events with the highest participation, than any other organization, while
maintaining an unprecedented safety record. Captain Cuthbertson also developed
the first safety clinic directed to the explosive growing popularity of small
crafts while working with the manufacturers in their own programs. He developed
and presented a jet ski thrill show directed to large festival and fairs. In addition
to his own racing career, Captain Cuthbertson performed freestyle stunts in his
own shows and for print and television commercials. Captain Cuthbertson is highly
regarded as an able body seaman capable of handling vessels large and small. He
has worked with the United States Coast Guard, law enforcement agencies, manufacturers,
insurance companies and trial attorneys providing a variety of functions including
that of consultant and expert testimony.
