Born in Vineland, New Jersey, July 26, 1965. Admitted to bar, 1993, Florida;
U.S. District Court, Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida;
U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth and Eleventh Circuits. Education: University
of Pennsylvania (B.A. 1988); University of Miami School of Law (J.D. 1993).
Member: The Florida Bar (Member, Admiralty Law Committee); Southeastern
Admiralty Law Institute; Dade County Bar Association, (Member, Federal
Court Committee); Florida Yacht Brokers Association.
Professional Information:
James H. Perry, II is the managing partner of Perry & Neblett P.A.,
a full service admiralty and maritime law firm based in South Florida.
Jim completed his undergraduate work at the University of Pennsylvania
in Philadelphia, and continued on to the University of Miami Law School
where he obtained his juris doctorate.
For
more than 13 years, Mr. Perry has earned a reputation for providing skilled
and practical guidance as an admiralty and maritime trial attorney, as
well as a nationally recognized authority on yacht transactions and offshore
closings. Jim prides himself on a “hands on” approach and
is committed to providing his clients with competent, cost effective legal
representation.
Mr.
Perry is proud to be a member of the Maritime Law Association of the United
States, the Florida Yacht Brokers Association and the Southeastern Admiralty
Law Institute. Jim has published articles relating to admiralty and maritime
law, and is a frequent lecturer for continuing legal education courses
and commercial trade organizations. He also serves on the Admiralty Law
Committee for the Florida Bar.
Outside of the courtroom, Jim is avid boater and is frequently found
offshore fishing, diving, or cruising on the high seas.
